Typically, our trips begin in the city of
Narita, Japan - approximately a one hour train ride from Tokyo.
We intentionally enjoy our first night in Narita for two reasons
- (1) everyone wants to relax and refresh themselves immediately
after the 14 hour flight from Houston and (2) Narita, Japan is
one the hidden jewels of this nation.
The next two days are spent in Tokyo, Japan. While in
Tokyo, you will see everything that can be seen in a 48 hour
period - the Tsukiji fish market, walking along the Kabuki
Theatre, the great Senso-ji of Asakusa, the Meiji Shrine, dinner
in Ginza, Japan and much more. After the second day in
Tokyo, it's time to board the bullet train to Kyoto.
The next three days are gobbled up by the extraordinary sights
of Kyoto, Japan...and three days are not nearly enough to see it
all, but we certainly try. One the final full day, we
visit Osaka, Japan to enjoy the city, tour Osaka castle and dine
in the great Dotonbori district. That will be the end to
our final full day in Japan.
Our last morning is spent traveling back to Narita to fly home.
On the way, everyone purchases their gifts for loved ones and
co-workers back home.
