When serious sushi lovers look for quality, value and service in one restaurant, it isn't easy.  There are lots of sushi establishments that focus on the bottomline - serve you, drop a check....next!  Hiro Sushi (located on Highway 6) is a compliment to the way that sushi restaurants should be managed in this city.  The location itself is small and inviting.  The sushi is fantastic and the staff is remarkably friendly.  The Sushi Club of Houston highly recommends visiting Hiro Sushi when have a desire to experience great sushi.  Best of all, you will leave with a full stomach, a quenched hunger...and eager to return.

When it comes to Hiro Sushi - focus on what you really love to eat.  Although we recommend nearly anything from Hiro's menu, we suggest that you give your favorites a try first.  You'll likely re-order your favorites again and again.

We also recommend ordering your favorite pieces of nigiri with an accompanying Rice Bowl dish (like Hiro's Katsu Don, Beef Don or Ten Don).  Not only are they served with Miso Soup, but you'll get a great variety of flavors but you won't break a $20.00 bill.
If you don't live near Hiro Sushi, avoid Monday's - they are closed on Monday.  Instead, they are open from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm on most weekdays.  On the weekends, Hiro is open on Saturday's from Lunchtime to 10:00 pm and 5 full hours on Sunday (5:00 pm - 10:00 pm).  So make sure that you visit Hiro when you have the time and they can welcome you for a great meal.

During the Summertime, Hiro Sushi offers Hiyashi tamuki udon (cold udon soup)" & "Hiyashi chuka soba (cold egg-noodle soup dish) which is a great way to get the authentic flavors of Japan with your sushi.

Chef Hiro is always at his restaurant and enjoys a great conversation at the sushi bar.  This is one of the best reasons to visit Hiro.  It's not an enormous restaurant with a full team of waitstaff buzzing throughout the establishment.  Instead, it's a small and cozy sushi restaurant that focuses on your love for sushi.  This way, Hiro Sushi ensures that the quality, selection and service is well worth the price.
